Now THIS is a loaded statement and it is going to take a minute for us to be able to expand on it properly. One does not simply decide on a whim that they are going to take the leap into hemp based CBD oil products, without taking some time to fully understand what CBD oil is. From there you can make up your own mind on whether or not you should be taking CBD oil daily, weekly or just every now and then. Even though we strongly believe that CBD oil is for everybody, the truth is that it may not be the case. Not because of harmful side-effects – of which we know CBD has none to little, which we will expand on later – or because it can alter the users state of mind, but because some people may not react to it in the way that others do.

Why You Should Take CBD Oil

Testimonials range from “miracle cure” to “I noticed a slight improvement”. Don’t let this discourage you, however, because – when you think of it – isn’t that the case with almost all medications or treatments? Some people respond and others don’t. Some people can only take 1 regular strength acetaminophen, while others can take multiple and still not notice relief from that pesky headache or pain. The fact is, results may vary and those results are largely based on the patient’s (your) determination to let CBD oil work its way into your system. CBD oil is a marathon, not a race. It offers its best results when given the time to build up within your system. You are not going to be able to simply take 1 drop of CBD oil, daily, for 5 days and notice a huge change in symptoms. Rather, you will want to take it for weeks or even months to allow the CBD to properly strengthen your endocannabinoid system so that it can improve and maintain your health. This article will explore the ways that CBD oil can help your body and what – if any – negative cbd side effects can come along with it.

Is CBD Oil worth It?

Is CBD oil worth it? In short, absolutely. Due to the multitude of studies and research that has been done on this very question, we can confidently say that the evidence of daily CBD oil use does provide a benefit to our bodies. The most notable study comes from the renowned Harvard University, where they state that, “The strongest scientific evidence is for its effectiveness in treating some of the cruellest epilepsy syndromes which typically don’t respond to anti seizure medications.” While CBD oil has shown its greatest promise when treating childhood and adult neurological disorders, it has also shown great promise in studies regarding: Anxiety, eating disorders, pain & inflammation and gastrointestinal issues. The reasoning behind this is because CBD stimulates the endocannabinoid system to promote homeostasis within the body.

Even in a human body – or any other mammal on the planet for that matter – that doesn’t ingest any form of hemp derived CBD oil or cannabis, endocannabinoids are still produced. In-fact, the endocannabinoid system, which was discovered as recently as 1992, regulates and controls almost every function within our bodies. Its receptors, commonly referred to as CB1 and CB2 receptors, span from our brains to our nerves and everything in between. Controlling gut health, appetite, sex drive, sleep, skin health and, quite literally, the list goes on.

Not only are there a multitude of peer reviewed studies online that back up our statements of why you should take CBD oil daily, but there are also countless testimonials to further back that point. However, probably the largest seller on why CBD is something you should take every day is the fact that it is 100% organic and contains ZERO GMOs or added chemicals. CBD oil that is derived from hemp is a completely natural extract that is flushed out of the hemp plant or its seeds using a process called “solvent extraction”. Meaning that only steam, distilled water, oils, alcohol and other 100% safe substances are used when extracting the CBD oil from its host hemp plant.

So, let’s recap. Is CBD oil worth it? Well.. it is completely natural and contains no added chemicals that can harm the body in the way that almost all pharmaceuticals can. Due to the fact that it contains ZERO tetrahydrocannabinol – the psychoactive ingredient to cannabis – there is no risk of getting yourself “high” when using it. It can with or to replace almost all pharmaceutical drugs on the market today. Pair that with CBD’s ability to combat neurological disorders, reduce pain, lower inflammation, increase overall gut, reduce the effects of anxiety and interact stimulate other receptors in the body; Yeah, we would say that CBD oil is VERY worth it. But how much should you take? And is it safe to take CBD oil every day?

Can you take CBD Oil Everyday?

We have answered the question: “why do people take CBD oil?” Because it works! But how much can you take and should you be taking it every day? After all, it can’t be safe to take anything in excess, right? While this may be true in most cases, it is actually EXTREMELY difficult to take “too much” CBD oil. Even at a heavier dose, CBD oil wont intoxicate the person(s) taking it, but rather cause them to become groggy or, possibly, run the risk of diarrhea. If you have ever taken castor oil, you know exactly what we’re talking about. Asking if you can take too much CBD oil is like asking if you can drink too much tea or water. Yes, there is a level that you should probably not cross, but a person would need to actively try to ingest too much for those results to happen.

The truth is that CBD oil SHOULD be taken every day. Like we mentioned earlier in this article, CBD oil is a marathon not a race. If you are hoping to take a few drops of CBD oil when you notice a little arthritis or a stiff neck, it’s not going to cure those symptoms immediately. You likely won’t even notice the effects at all. The way that CBD works best is when it is taken in a regular fashion, allowing the extract to build up within the body. For best results we – and many others – recommend that a patient take CBD oil everyday for a minimum of 2-weeks to notice the full effects of the extract. Most people will begin to notice pain, or other symptoms, relief within a few days, but the maximum benefits will be noticed after the extract has built up enough within your body. From there, it’s all about maintaining that level of CBD in your body to continue simulating your endocannabinoid system and receptors to work as efficiently as possible.

This is going to be a different process for everyone. Just like how individuals will notice the effects after a shorter or longer period of time, the dosage strength and regularity will differ as well. One person may only need one dose from a 500-1000mg tincture or oil a day while another may need two or even three. This is where the glorious freedom of CBD begins. Due to the fact that there are no psychoactive effects to CBD oil or tinctures, you can always adjust your dosage to whatever best fits your lifestyle. More intense pain may require a higher dose. Just looking to maintain your current health, a more moderate dose may be necessary. The benefits of CBD is that it’s completely customizable and can be altered to best suit your lifestyle and needs. But for best results, you are going to need to take it every day, at least once.

As you may have guessed, the conclusion to the title statement of this article is packed with a ton of reasons why you should be taking CBD oil and, better yet, be taking it everyday. When you see articles such as this, or the thousands of others online, you may not be questioning why people take CBD, but rather why do YOU not take CBD? With the countless studies currently being done on the topic of CBD since its discovery in the 1940s, it’s a wonder why more people haven’t clued in to this outstanding resource for personal health. CBD has grown immensely in popularity over the past 10 years, and is only continuing to gain more recognition with popular culture and celebrities.

It doesn’t appear to be going away anytime soon. In fact, the popularity of cannabidiols (CBD) is only increasing as more products, suppliers, endorsers and average Jill/Joes begin to clue in to this incredible extract that has been around for 80 years, but somehow only gained popularity within the last 10. But that’s why you are here, asking the important questions and educating yourself on this next step in personal health and how to properly integrate it into your daily lifestyle.
